I have psoriasis, and I use a medicated oil to treat it. It’s working. . . but I’ve heard that using shampoo and conditioner can aggravate the symptoms of psoriasis. I don’t want that to happen, because I finally got the condition under control, and I can manage it w/o difficulty. I don’t want a break out due to my use of shampoo. BUT, the oil I use makes my hair smell awful. I use it once a week now. But I have to lubricate my hair n scalp at least every other day with oil(the medicated is only needed weekly). That also makes my hair smell, due to sweat and dirt. But excessive shampooing can ruin hair too, so which product should I use to prevent flair-ups? I read that using product isn’t good for psoriasis either, so I try and do that sparingly. Any constructive advice is good. I’d like affordable options for shampoos/conditioners as well. . . u know, something I can get at walmart? Thanks.
I got my hair chemically straightened yesterday, (Wednesday). And i was wondering if it would be okay if I went swimming tomorrow (Friday). There is a day in between to let the hair set and i’m not going swimming in a swimming pool so there isn’t the problem of chlorine.
But i am worried about the sea water since salt water can be drying.
Anyone know from experience?
My hair is sort of long. But i dont know what kind of moisterizers, shampoos, and deep conditioners i should use. I do not have a relaxer btw. Also i live in the U. S. Thank you.

I have medium brown hair that’s below my shoulders, and really want to have purple highlights for the school holidays. I’m thinking of using Schwarzkopf Semi-Permanent Live Colour in Blueberry which is made for brown hair, but I have no idea how I would put highlights in it and where I would place them. My hair is a little wavy, is layered and I have a front fringe. I’m only allowed to get them done if I do them at home but I don’t know how. Thanks

i dyed my hair half blonde & i kept re-dying it cuz my roots kept showing. when i dyed my hair back to black i got these gross nappy dry hairs!! all on the ends of my hair. what can i do to fix this?/:
