I usually don’t mind, but it annoys me when she would run out of her foundation then tell me how much she NEEDS it and would make her parents drive her to the mall to buy some. She would put a lot of foundation on her face, if you poked it, some of it would go on your fingers, literally. She acts as if she’ll die without it. There’s also large amounts of eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, lip gloss,etc. About the mascara, when he applies it, she would do it multiple times and it would end up all clumpy but insists that shes not. I’ve gone to the point where it’s driving me insane. I don’t know about you, but i find that quite a lot. Maybe it’s me? Since I only use a facial moisturizer, eye liner, and a lip balm (Because it’s still snowing in Canada and my lips get very chappy/dry). On special occasions I would use eye shadow and foundation (Like a wedding or semi-formal,etc. ) I just, want advice on how to get through her “I NEED it” days. I try to change subjects but she always comes back to it.
I’m not trying to change the way she wears her make up, I only want to get through those days where she runs out of foundation.
Im 15 and this is what I wear each day (only if Im going somewhere)
- A little foundation only on places where I need coverage (Under my eye’s and any blemishes I might have)
- A little cream blush
- Brown eyeliner and mascara
- Lip balm.
And I like to have low maintenace hair, Its just my natural brown colour,
usually what I do is straighten it, which usually takes about 5 minutes
and leave it, or i tie it up in a half updo, or put a clip in it or something.
I know that If I wear more makeup I could look HEAPS better. Cause Im good with makeup, I just dont wanna look like a cakeface.
So anyway, my sister, who is 12, wears,
-foundation
- pressed powder
- loose powder
- blush
- bronzer
- black eyeliner and mascara
- and lipgloss.
she has her hair dyed black
and shes getting hair extensions soon. .
And when she’s finished doing her hair and makeup, and ive finished mine, i sorta look at her and think that maybe i should wear my makeup like that. . cause she looks soooo much prettier than me! I’d feel like a cake face, but. . i dont know.
Do you reckon I should wear more makeup? Or stay the way I am?
On my left eye my eyelashes are really weak and they can’t stand up strongly, so they just kind of hang down into my bottom lashes, the ones in the outer corner of my left eye. It’s so annoying, I have even cut them a few times, but they just grow back the same. Any suggestions that you know of that could make them stronger to hold themselves up? I don’t know how this happened, they used to be strong. Maybe wearing mascara caused it. I went through a stage when I was 15-18 where I wore mascara everyday without washing it off properly, so that could be the reason why they are how they are now.
I don’t wear mascara anymore btw.
My friend always makes comments about me wearing makeup and about people who wear it. Like today another friend was like you should wear mascara and her reply was ew no. But anwyay I don’t see why she makes a big deal about it. I’m 14, I have clear skin so I don’t use foundation,I just use mascara and chapstick and lipgloss. And I own eyeshadow but it is for special occasions that are rare like christmas and it is a neutral color. And its not like I use mascara everyday,its only when I feel like it as my eyelashes are naturally long and curly but I just like to apply it to enhance them but most lf the time I just wear clear mascara unless its picture day or Christmas. I mean is it really so bad? she always make remarks about it. It’s not like i go around telling her she should wear makeup to hide those dark circles,or wear foundation for her acne or that she should use mascara for her short lashes. I neversay anything rude to her. so why does she do it to me?

Well my teacher said to me today, ” you wearing mascara & eyeshadow& eyeliner , go wash your face ”
And i wasnt wearing any mascara, i had just curled them, & i was so angry she was accusing me of wearing all this stuff! I Was like ” but im not wearing any, see ??!” but i still had to go wash my “eye makeup off”

I have makeup for the face but have never really put anything on my eyes apart from mascara. Where should i start? What are the basics that are part of most people’s everyday eye makeup routine? I like the natural look (not into smokey eyes or anything like that).
