Pretty self-explanitory, really. I know you can’t smoke after getting a tooth pulled. But can you still smoke after getting a tongue piercing?
Okay, so you can smoke, but you have to keep it clean. That’s good. But lots of people mention waiting until it has healed – how long does that take?
I’ve had it done for over 3yrs now, trouble is when i bought a new bar to put in i couldn’t unscrew the one already in my tongue. I’ve tried twisting it, but it doesn’t unscrew and i can’t go back to the place i had it done at, because it’s closed down. :S
Will another piercing parlour help me out or will i have to go to the docs?

I have been considering getting a surface piercing on the nape of my neck. I’ve heard that rejection rates are high for surface piercings, but I was wondering if the rejection rates are high for the nape of the neck, and if so, what other areas would you recommend?
And no, any answers involving the clit or nipples are not helpful, for I am not considering those at all!

I got my 2nd ear piercing done about a month ago and I think its time to change the earrings. I was told by the person, by whom I got my ears pierced, that after taking the piercing earrings off I should wear a gold plated post-type earring. So today I went and brought a small stud but it has a screw on backing and not a push in backing. Is that alright?
