What piercings would look go on me in your opinion? I’ve been thinking about what I want to get and there are so many that I’m considering but there is not possible way I could get them all, cuz that would look dumb.
Here are the choices (add others if you feel the need):
tongue
monroe
lip
nostril
septum
horizontal eyebrow
regular eyebrow
sternum
Oh yeah, I don’t want anyone posting any comments on how ugly piercings are. I’ve already decided I want one and I’m doing it for myself. I’m just very indecisive and it’s not even guaranteed that I’m going to choose whichever is most popular on here.

I am 14 and would like to get my nose pierced. Mum says I have to wait though, until I am atleast 16. I am fine with this as we aren’t even allowed facial piercings at school anyway so I couldn’t wear it all that often. I have a few quesions though?
Are there any ways you think I could use to persuade my mum to let me get it done sooner, haha?
I want to make sure it is a reliable piercer and so does my mum. We don’t just want it done anywhere so how do we look into the reliability and credibility of a place?
About how much would it cost (in Australia)?
For those who have had their nose pierced does it hurt getting it pierced or afterwards?
Are infections common?
Also how long do you have to keep it in for before you can change it?
Finally I want the piercing to look respectable so I just want a tiny stone that is very subtle. When you see young people with piercings what kind of impression do you get?

want another piercing. . have 6 lobe piercings (3 on each) 1 cartlige piercing, my scaffold (industrial ear piercing) and belly. . i have to work so cant have anything too big or ‘ugly’ (not that any piercings are ugly!)

I got my belly button pierced about a month ago. I have the top and the bottom pierced. I think they are infected. The bottom piercing hurts when i touch it and when the ring moves. The top piercing has a bubble slightly to the right of the piercing. It hurts so bad. Both piercings have thick pus coming out of the hole and both piercings are red. Only the bottom piercing is hot to the touch. What should I do
The first time I had my betty button pierced it got infected and the doctor told me not to remove it until my infection cleared up. I took it out anyways and the infection got 150% times worse. The infection turned into a blood infection. So I left it alone for 4 years. The doctor told me when went for the first infection I could always have it repierced. no im not alergic to surgical steel. it makes no sense i have 20 piercings ;
eyebrow;nose;tongue;labret;both nipples;top and bottom belly button; 6 in each ear.
and ive never had this type of problem. only the one infection but that didnt have a bubble
OK in the past 2 days ive gotten to lip piercings well people that r into ppiercings i have snake bites
i had eaten tea so i washed my mouth out with warm salty water like ther piercer told me to
now i wake up in the middle of the night the backs of the piercings are in my skin almost and each side of my lip is 10 times the size it was before these cost me $100 and i dont want to take them out anyone know what reduces swelling FAST!!
I want to get my septum pierced and i was wondering do they go through the cartilage or through the bit of skin just under it?

I know it will hurt i have many piercings and tattoos but the spetum seems to be slightly more sensitve than most areas.

I’ve had this idea in my head for a while, and in a few months i’ll have the opportunity to go get it done.
for most piercings i pierce myself (septum, lip, tongue web, etc), but stuff like tongue and eyebrow seem too dangerous.
i want to get the Southern Cross, pierced into my chest.
like, right in the middle, have 4 studs with stars on the end.
i’ve never seen anything like this before, so i think it’d be pretty original.
i don’t know the procedure for surface piercings, how much it hurts, how it works, etc.
Is it possible to do this by myself?
I’ve had lots of experience piercing noses and lips and ears and nipples.

I got my nose pierced yesterday and I have a few questions.
Do you have to turn the stud like you do ear piercings? The piercer didn’t mention it, infact she said not to touch it unless you’re cleaning it but I heard somewhere that you should.
I also heard that if you don’t turn it the skin will like heal around it, kinda fusing itself to it? Is this true?
Finally what are some general do’s and don’ts of nose piercings?

I’m not emo-y at all, at most I’d say I’m a little punk-y but my style is fairly average. I want to get a monroe piercing (link below for anyone who doesn’t know what that is. . . that isn’t me, obviously, haven’t got it done yet. )

Would it look weird because my style isn’t emo-y, but these piercings sort of are? I think people might start saying that I’m a poser or trying to be a goth or something, which isn’t bad but. . . not what I’m going for. And also, does it matter that I have sort of a chubby face, because I do?
Lastly, for anyone who has it done, does it hurt too much? Compared to other piercings (I have my ears and nose done already).
