What should I wear to company Christmas Party? I mean, I still have 2 months to find out, but I hate to do it last weekend before it and also I do not want to wear same things as my colle...
With Class A uniform, I believe a Cocktail dress would be appropriate. If he were wearing his Mess Dress Uniform, an evening gown would be more appropriate.
I would definitely want to look sharp. How the wife dresses, sais alot about the man. You want to make a good impression for both of you, and his unit, since it might be business/pleasure!
You can’t go wrong with a nice white suit dress, with some nude colored, short heeled shoes. Add some stud fake zirconia diamond earrings, if you can’t afford the real ones. Then get a classy, thick, short gold necklace in the costume jewelry section at the mall. Don’t forget your nice watch and clutch purse. Also,Try a nice gold pinky ring to go with your wedding ring.
If you don’t feel comfortable wearing white in winter, then opt for a light blue suit dress. If you really want to stand out, wear red.
You could also try getting a sharp fitted dress down to the ankle, and use the accessories I mentioned above.
It also depends on your body frame. If you don’t have a problem with it, you can go either way. If you do then try the suit dress.
As far as a cocktail dress goes. . . . that’s nice, but can get sooo expensive. If you choose this route, then go class A, and forget about the cost, because there’s nothing worse than a cheap one.
I say this, because the quality in the fabric will show.
