What should I wear to my Christmas dance?!?
I know its only September, but i’m bored and i’m looking for ideas. My Christmas dance is semi formal, although some girls went all out with like long flowing dresses etc etc. I like an outfit I can dance in(those girls sat on the side the whole nite). What would be something that is a little more formal but not dress pants, there’s a rule about no jeans, thats about it. I’m not really a skirt/dress kinda girl, i’ve tried and they just don’t work for me. What is an outfit that is dance-able, sexy but not trashy and a little bit dressy. Thanx for now

Give skirts a try! If they don’t work for you, it normally means you are not used to them, or you have not found your style. Look at other girls, and try to find the kind of outfit you like to see on other girls and that you think will be dance-able. When you have got an idea, get yourself an outfit, or at least a skirt, that you think could work for you. Wear it at home, doing homework or housework or just watching TV, and you will quickly find out that you don’t have to change if someone calls at your door or you go out.
The risk is that you may be convinced that you are a skirt-girl, and than you may have to manage with much more positive attention from boys. I did that. The advantage is that you will have no problems wearing skirts on parties.
