I just got a tattoo on Friday and it seems color is already missing is that normal?
My friend looked at it and said that they colors in two of the butterflies is faded and skin is showing through. . is this normal or do I need to have the color touched up?
It is a real tattoo. . . . . i got it done at a very well known shop in the town i live in. . It bled a lot when they did it. . . . don’t know if that has something to do with it. . .

Sounds like it is probably “scabbing” over, the skin will dry up and fall off sometimes, keep it moisturized and covered from the sun. Don’t really wash that area, just let water run over it. takes about 10 days and if you notice colour missing then, you would need it touched up.
don’t even think about touching that tattoo up until it is healed. don’t worry it is going through stages when it scabs and peals off it kind of looks like the ink is falling out in some places but you can never really tell until it is healed. so you will have to wait.
Yup, that’s normal.
You’ll need a touch up once your tattoo is healed (that’s like 2 weeks).
