How do I stop my brown coloured hair from turning brassy?

By , February 24, 2011 7:54 am

My hair is naturally blonde, but stupidly I decided to dye it light brown and now it is starting to go brassy. Is there anything I can put in it to take away the brassiness?

Don’t listen to the person who posted the enatural link, it’s a useless website.

What kind of shampoo are you using? Make sure you are using one that is special for COLOR TREATED hair. In addition you can use one that is specifically for color-treated brunette hair (there’s an expensive kind but you can also find one at walmart for around $3).

That should work. If it doesn’t there are brass-removing toners you can use in your hair.
