i have got the hair dye and everything its schwartzkopf vital colours mahogany permenant i was goin to do it then a friend said that because i have highlights it will either make my hair go green or ginger is this true if so what can i do about it. . . thanks xxx

   bleach it first, then dye it

   You should strip you hair of all it’s colour then do it.
