How do you get vaseline and product out of your hair?
I have had vaseline in my hair for at least 2 days now. (Don’t ask- it was for an art project.) My hair is greasy and feels gross, and I’ve washed my hair at least 6 times. Are there any products or homemade remedies I can use to get this gunk out of my hair? I heard that white vinegar works. Any objections, or other recommendations?

use a harder type of bar soap its really bad for your scalp and hair it drys it out but i don’t think vaseline is that great either so try that
either a clarifying shampoo-which you still might have to use more than once. but i would use baking soda and water-thats what we use on the old ladies that only wash their hair once a week. haha. it works. all you do is put it through your hair like you would shampoo. then i would still suggest the clarifying shampoo. look on the bright side-you got a good conditioning treatment for the past couple of days. baking soda and water-i wouldnt put vinegar near anyones head. it doesnt cleanse it.
the best thing to do is put shampoo on it while your hair is dry. and rub it in well then rinse it out shampoo your hair twice to get rid iv any more product then just a light conditioner

white vinegar would probably work, but DON’T get it in your eyes. it won’t hurt your hair but try not to overdo it either.
i would just keep washing and washing with shampoo and hot water until it was all out.

When ur taking a shower try squeezing lemon on ur hair and rub it out, the citric acid on the lemon should be able to get rid of the grease =)
You can also try Dawn dish soap, it takes out grease.
