A question about eye makeup!?
I have makeup for the face but have never really put anything on my eyes apart from mascara. Where should i start? What are the basics that are part of most people’s everyday eye makeup routine? I like the natural look (not into smokey eyes or anything like that).

I never leave my house without my eyeliner. I used a pencil for my lash line under my eye depending on your skin color is what you should use for that. Then I use eye shadow also close to my skin tone then a liquid liner VERY close to my lash line. It took my months to perfect. I still watch you tube videos to pick up tips they work great!
brown or black WATERPROOF, LIQUID eyeliner and maybe like NEUTRAL eyeshadows
put a primer on your eyelid and maybe a light coloured eyeshadow then put black eyeliner on your waterline and black mascara hope i helped

I have a very specific makeup routine, sooo here we go:
Fresh out of shower and after washing my face, I put Vitamin E facial moisturizer on
Primer on my eyelids
Concealer (all over face)
Liquid foundation (all over face)
Powder foundation (all over face)
On my eyes:
Light neutral color all over lid up to eyebrow
Darker color shaded near the outer corners
Highlight/shimmery color up at top underneath eyebrows
Shade in eyebrows with angled brush
Eyeliner on top and bottom
Curl eyelashes
Mascara

I would say if u wanna wear eyeshadow wear a pale creamy brown base or with slightly gold hints would look nice, but a darker brown in your crease (between where the end of you lid is and where the start of your brown bone is) and then a natural highlight colour. Brown suits most eye colours Then apply a thin line of black liquid eyeliner (stays on longer so less fuss) but NEVER just apply eyeliner to the bottom water line cos it closes up your eyes and makes them look small. And then curl your lashes and apply mascara
If you don’t wanna wear eyeshadow just apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner (black is always good) and then curl lashes and apply mascara.
