Have you ever used Vaseline(patroleam jelly) on your eyelashes to make them grow longer and thicker?

If you have, how long did it take to see results and how visible were the results?

Also, how does Vaseline make your eyelashes grow anyway?

Once, I over-plucked my eyebrows and I thought I would leave it to grow out for at least four weeks. In the meanwhile I applied a thin coat of petroleum jelly over it before I went to bed and it did help the growth process. It really depends on how fast your hair, nails and eyebrows grow so for some their eyelashes and eyebrows may grow quickly if they apply petroleum jelly on it or it may take a while to see some results.

I’ve never even heard of this.
But I do know that its not advised to use Vaseline anywhere near ur eyes.
If it gets in your eyes it can cause blurry vision and/or blindness.
Your better off using a product like latisse that is specifically for longer and thicker lashes.
Or u could get lash extensions, but they only last a few weeks.

I don’t think so. I’m Asian and there was an old myth that if try to trim it every so often it will grow thicker and longer. I didn’t really try to do that though. Petroleum jelly is purely oil and I think it won’t do any good if you apply it and accidentally rub your eyes. Just an interesting thought. I found this site and it shows celebrities who have had eyelid surgery http://celebritysurgery. net/madonna-eyelid-surgery/. Some looks good, some don’t.
