question about tattoo aftercare?
im just wondering if its ok to put something like petroleum jelly//vaseline on my tattoo. ? and how long should i stay for a shower?

Yes keep it moisturized and DO NOT put triple antibiotics on it cus it will pull the color out of it! And don’t pick the scabs
neosporin is very good for new tattoos. after all it is a fresh wound. keep that on for a few days covered and it should form a light scab but don’t worry that’s normal. you can take a shower anytime you want. it wont hurt it. just keep the antibiotic on it like i said and you’ll be alright.

I got A&D ointment for mine.

POLYsporin works fine.
After a short time, switch to to light lotion, such as lubriderm.
When you shower, you can do so for as long as you like. Just dont let the water hit the tattoo directly.
YEAH ALL OF THATS GOOD FOR YOUR TATTOO AND PLUS THEY WILL MAKE THEM LOOK BETTER AFTERWARDS OHH AND TRY WRAPPING YOUR TATTOO UP IN PLASTIC REAL GOOD THEN YOU CAN TAKE A SHOWER IF NOT THEN WAIT ABOUT A WEEK TO TAKE THEM
