I’m 16 and i’m getting my belly button piercing this week. i want to know if the piercing will be healed enough to be able to take it out for an hour or so once lacrosse season starts in the spring.
ohh and on a scale of 1 – 10 how bad does it hurt?

oh my godd my belly button hurt me the most! i have my lip and my septum pierced and nothing compared to my belly. and it took mine like… november – march?

  3. Paigeybear says:

Six/nine months to a year. And even though it may be healed by lacrosse season, it could still close or shrink very easily if jewelry is left out.

On a scale of one to ten, my navel piercing was a three or so.

I wouldn’t say it was sore getting it done but it’s quite tender for a month after, so you have to be very careful with it.
By the way, when you get sick of your belly ring and want to take it out for good, the whole NEVER heals up, you will always have a whole there! trust me, i speak from experience!

i got mine pierced just last year, and it took 6 months to heal. it only hurt like a 4 max.

6 months to a year. if lacrosse is an issue are you allowed to wear a clear retainer in it? it more discreet and it will insure you hole doesn’t shrink or close up.
as for how bad it hurts there is no definitive answer it all depends on your pain tolerance. mine wasn’t that bad but i know people that say it killed.
