I have the same problem. One question is whether there’s a root cause for it that could be addressed like PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome).

I’ve had bad luck with chemical depilitories like Nair – they remove the hair, but they also burn my skin.

There’s waxing, which you can have done in a salon or find kits to do at home. That also hurts like the dickens! However, it pulls the hairs out by the roots and they take awhile to grow back.

For permanent removal there’s electrolysis, which you can also have done professionally or (used to be) find kits to use at home. However, at least for the home kits, it takes several attempts to totally kill one hair follicle. Boy, is it tedious!

There’s also a papaya-based lotion that helps dissolve hair follicles. It doesn’t work so well on hairs that are already there, but if you’ve waxed or tweezed, a regular application may help keep the hairs from coming back so fast.

Best of luck! This is an aggravating problem, and I’m frequently grateful that my husband’s eyesight is so bad.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
