   If you think it’s rejecting it’s a good idea to take it out and let it heal up until you can get it redone. They can reject very quickly or take a very long time. if it is rejecting quickly it is very likely that it’s infected and it will be very painful or may excrete yellow gunk. Those are bad signs and you should absolutely take it out. This site is very helpful for info on piercings.    if it’s rejecting then the skin between the jewelry and to the surface of the skin will become smaller and smaller. it will also appear red and irritated and blood or more puss will come out. you’ll definitely know if it’s being rejected. and if it does start to reject then take it out before it’s forced out. it can either happen quickly or take months to do it.
