3-6 months. . . my piercer told me that for my tongue since i had to take it out and it closed in a matter of minutes. . . so if you want a good answer go to a piercer and ask. . .

go to hot topic and buy H2Ocean, spray that on after your shower, before bed, and when you wake up. DON’T move your ring in and out until you swab it with a q tip and h2ocean to get rid of the nasty crap on it haha. and when you’re in the shower wash it with the orange colored dial pump soap. (original) i did this when i got mine pierced and it compeltely healed in two weeks.

A safe estimate is 6-8 weeks. As soon as the inflammation resolves. You’ll know it is resolving when the redness, pain, and swelling have subsided.

depends when you take it out. . . I had mine in a few months before it rejected and a few months later it still hasn’t completely healed :S

They suggest at least 6 months to make sure you have good, solid, scar tissue, but if you pop into your piercer around 3 months they’ll poke it and tell you if it’s ready to go again. If its not healed on the inside it’ll heal up really fast and you can get it redone sooner.

I’d say 1-2 months. . . If I were you, I’d wait about 3 or 4 months just to make sure that it’s 100% healed
