It depends. Are you talking about after you take it out or how long it takes to heal when you have just had it done?

If you have just had it done it can take up to a year and a half to heal completely. Im talking about to the stage where it is just a nice neat little hole and to the point where you can actually leave your belly ring out for a couple of days. They heal quite slowly- it does differ from person to person- but it can take several months for it to settle down and stop getting sore. Belly piercings get infected very easily- about 80% of people will have a slight infection at some point. Just make sure you keep it clean with salt water or antiseptic and don’t touch it. Also don’t keep on changing your belly ring- that will irritate it and make it heal slower. It is also a wise idea to purchase a ring made out of high quality metals to stop irritation. Cheap ones can have other metals in them which cause allergies.

    They take a long time.
If you take care of it properly it should take about six months to fully heal.
I haven’t been taking good care of mine personally and it’s been about 6 months but it’s still not healed by any means. A teeny bit infected.
    Ask your piercer about it.
