i had mine pierced, both my sisters had theirs done, and a lot of my friends got theres done after i did. . i recently took mine out but i still put it back in from time to time. . i liked it a lot but a love piercings but they do get old i took all of mine out. . mine costed about 40 dollars i think, it kinda depends on where you live. . to me a tongue piercing is good to get done because if you want to take it out its not noticable so i would say go for it if you want it. . if you change ur mind later down the road then take it out. . . by the way if ur wondering if it hurts, it doesnt hurt at all! but i would suggest to take some kind of med to help with the swelling before you get it done because your tongue will take up your whole mouth and it does get very painful a couple hours later!
Well, I don’t really like facial or body piercings, they look a bit, what’s the word, trashy? But of course it’s your opinion.
As for the price, it would vary, but it should cost around $40 – $60. .
if you want, go for it, just don’t play with it heaps in your mouth once in as you can damage the enamel on your teeth! Also, guys will think of you differently (as they apparently make certain things/acts feel better) so depends on the type of attention you want!
I think if you really want it done, and you think you’ll still want it a few months from now, sure. It heals so nicely that if you end up taking it out no one will know it was done, which is more than you can say for a lot of other facial piercings, it’s fun to have, and buying all the different barbells is tons of fun. I have had mine pierced twice, taken it out both times because I was fed up with it clicking on my teeth when I worked out, but you really can’t tell! It cost me 30 dollars a couple years ago, pretty cheap! Just make sure you go to a really great piercer with excellent reviews, cause piercing it in the wrong place can cause some serious problems. I’ve had a tongue piercing for a year now and it’s by far my favorite piercing (I also have my ears pierced twice each and my navel). I was extremely lucky to have no problems with swelling, and after letting it heal for a month I was able to change the barbell and balls anytime I wanted, without pain or fear of infection. No one can tell you what or what not to do, but I would definitely recommend getting your tongue pierced if you want to do it for the right reasons (some of which being it is a discreet piercing, and very inoffensive providing you do not stick your tongue out at every passing person). Make sure you take two Advil or similar anti-inflammatory pills prior to getting pierced, and the piercing professional should sterilize the barbell and piercing needle for at least a half hour before piercing your tongue. Make sure the facility is clean and hygienic, and that the piercing professional sanitizes their hands and wears gloves prior to piercing. This is common sense stuff, but your mouth is one of the easiest places for an infection to develop. Google ‘infected tongue piercings’ to see why hygiene is so important. My piercing, along with a big bottle of mouthwash, cost $54 in Western Canada. Good luck if you do decide to do this!

yes i think u should i just got mine done today! and i love it already the only problems are that it is REALLY hard to eat for about the first night and also u talk funny the first day but other then that i like it. mine was $45 but it really depends on the shop u go to. I reccomend that u go into the shop and ask them and also to make sure its clean
