Bad, I personally look down on people who had their tounge pierced. As previously mentioned people might label you as a wh0re. I also know that it hurts a lot and is very painful. It’s also bad for your mouth and teeth if you get it infected. . . . well. . . . . lets just say don’t get it infected. High Chance of getting infected. You also might die if they do it wrong. Rare, but possible. Not a good idea if you want a decent job. Food also gets stuck there.
It might even tear your tongue.
Rethink about it. You DO NOT want one.

Ummmm I don’t have one but around my area “Middle America” it doesn’t label you as a wh0re. It can mean more fun for you kissing and in the bedroom but it can also just make you feel sexier. It definately isn’t just cuz you like having a piece of metal in your mouth, but cuz you like the look people get when they notice it. I think they’re hot and plan on getting one sometime soon.

I’ve tried having my tongue pierced twice, Using only a Needle and a Thread. You can feel the pain Three to Six Days.
You should practice not to bite your Barbel so you can ignore the pain.

I had my tongue pierced about 10 years ago. (Yes, I’m old. ) The healing process was uncomfortable and inconvenient (the swelling, not being able to eat, talked funny, etc. ). After it healed, it was fun to experiment with different barbells. Chomping down accidently on the steel jewelry was not fun. . . . Other than that, I liked having my tongue pierced.
I took it out a couple years ago. Tongue piercings started to seem so common.
Horrible idea. First of all, I’ll tell you that I’ve never had my tongure pierced (thank god!) but I’ve known plenty of people who have made that mistake! You’re tongue will swell for 3 to 5 days and no one will be able to understand a word that comes out of your mouth, its really hilarious. I know a girl who chipped both of her front teeth on the ball of her piercing, not a pretty site. And tongue piercings doesn’t make you anymore or less attractive, actually they make you look a little slutty =/.
I’m sorry but FUCK YOU ALL i have had my tongue pierced for 6 years now and i got it done when i was 13 and i didn’t get it to give head that’s stupid to even say that. . . . i recon my ears hert worse i didn’t even feel it but i was so scared. .

I had always liked them so I got it done. Seriously painful! The swelling made me feel like I was going to choke on my own tongue for a few days. Ended up chiping a bottom tooth. Found out that those particular piercings are associated with um. . . not so chaste women. I actually didn’t kow that beforehand. Professionally done or not, if they hit the wrong spot, you can end up with a lifelong drooling issue. I took mine out. . . that was gross too. I wouldn’t recommend it.
plz dont do piercing in your body parts. . but u can pierce ur ears for the ear rings. . but its not good to pierce the tongue because the metal particles may go into ur stomach.
there cool u can allways remove u never know till u get 1 there great for some and not for other’s swelling goes down in 2 days my friend says she could not live without hers she’s had it 6 years and as had no probs
It’s totally up to you, I wouldn’t worry about people thinking your a whore – who cares what they think, as long as your happy. I’ve never had mine done but check out www. bmezine. com and read others experiences to see if you could handle it.
I have my tongue pierced and have had it pierced for almost a year. I adore my tongue ring and no one labeled me a wh0re after I got it done. The healing takes about a week to 2 weeks. At first your gonna talk funny cause its new but you get used to it really quick.

First off, forget these other people, they’re idiots. Who cares what other people think? If you want it, get it for you. Guys with it is okay and girs with it are okay. It’s not a single-sided sex piercing at all. It doesn’t really hurt to GET pierced, however afterwards it is sore and swells for around 5 days. After about 2 weeks it should be A O. K. and you CAN change the piercing, but to be fully sure they suggest 4 weeks. Ice and ibuprophen is good. Don’t eat solids for about 1 week (believe me, odds are you wouldn’t be able to if you tried anyways. ) And just follow this site for more info:

That site has AWESOME info and helped me out alot with mine. Oh and BTW DO NOT use full strength mouthwash. Dilute it or else the enzymes that heal your tongue wil be washed away and healing will take alot longer.
Also there is not a high chance of getting infected as some other guys say above. Its almost impossible to get one because your mouth if full of enzymes that kill bacteria. If you use a 50/50 solution of Listerine and Water after eating anything you’ll be fine.
