I got my nose pierced about 5 months ago and it didn’t really hurt at all! i have an appointment in two days to get my belly button done, and i was just wondering whether it is going to hurt more?
does anyone have both piercings? could you please tell me the differences between the two in, pain? and the healing process?
and any tips to make sure it doesnt get too infected? I’v heard Belly button is more prone to infection?

   I got my belly button pierced when I was 15 and it was fine. Go for a surgical steel bar/stud (i’m not sure they’re actually called). The pain is just a slight pinch, nothing major. It will hurt to sit or lie on your stomach for about two weeks, but then it starts to heal. It doesn’t get that infected as long as you take care of it/clean it. Use a salt water solution to clean it and a bactine spray.
   They say not to go swimming for about two or three weeks afterwards, but I did a four day course in a chlorinated pool to get my lifeguard certification a few days after I got mine and it was fine. So, no big deal. Good luck!
