how long does it take for a nose piercing to heal and how much does it hurt?
im thinking about getting my nose pierced and i was wondering how long it takes to heal i have 8 wks holidays would that be enough to change the stud into a clear one? or not?
and how much does it hurt?
i have cartlidge, navle and 3 lobe piercings does it hurt more or less than them. they were all average pain

Im getting mine done this upcoming Wednesday (: Ive been doing some research, and its only supposed to take 6 weeks to heal! Not many piercings “hurt. ” Most of them actually make you want to go back for more! Nose piercings however, do make your eyes water! I hope you have fun with it if you get one! (:
Nose piercing is great !!! I got my nose pierced about 3 weeks ago and it’s already healed , so when you come back to school it will be healed. it doesn’t hurt that much, but in the first place it might be a little ichy and uncomfortable to wear but in no time you will get used to it. Here is my advice : you should get a small nose piercing , and maybe a gold one not any cheap ones . . Hope i helped
the pain completely changes from person to person. . all i can really tell you is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take good care of it. almost everyone i know (including me) got a huge bubble thing around the piercing. . and i acutally DID take care of mine and wash it every day. . so be extremely careful not to get makeup in the peircing or anything else that could infect it. . wheni got mine pierced i thought it kind of hurt and i have a high pain tollerance i wasn’t like bawling or freaking out but my eye watered a little bit. then i went with my friend to get hers done and she barely felt it at all. . i think need to expect the opposite. like expect its going to be realllyyyyy really painful and then you’ll get it and it’ll be nothing. . but if you go into it like me thinking you have a high pain tolerance and it’ll be nothing it will actually kind of hurt. . if that makes sense? ahah maybe i’m crazy but yeah good luck!!
hey i just got my nose pierced a little over a week ago. I have a low tolerance for pain and it didn’t hurt that bad, if i could handle it i definently think you could. especailly with all the other piercing you have. i hear nose is the least painful. The most that will happen is that it will sting and your eyes will water a little. it wont sting so much after you start cleaning it.
i also hear that 3 months til you can change the peircing but i’m going to wait a little longer.
If you’re going to change it, ask your piercer to do it for you if you think it’s too soon. cause he was going to change mine not even a week later because i didn’t like the color at the time, but now i do
also when you do change it (you probably know but sorry) make sure to clean the new ring with alcohol.
technically, a nose piercing takes 6-8 weeks to heal but it all varies from person to person. you shouldn’t change the stud untill at least 6 weeks or it could be infected pretty easily, just make sure you keep it clean all the time, dont put makeup on in and don’t let anything like chlorine in pools or face cleansers to get in it. try and go to a place that uses needles to pierce rather than guns because for some reason ive heard they are less likely to get infected. i got mine pierced with a needle and it wasnt so bad, but it depends on the person, it will probably be more painful than ears but not as bad as cartilage.

yes it does more or less hurt like the piercings you’ve got. Nose piercings don’t hurt but they make your eyes water. It takes about 6 to 8 weeks to heal so yes it will be long enough to change it to a clear stud. But my nose piercing fully healed in about 4 weeks. Don’t touch it when you get it done newly. And just wash the piercing with salted water and it will be fine. From a scale of 1 to 10 it hurts about 3. And also when you get it done the stud they might use to pierce your nose might look really big and ugly but don’t take it out until it’s fully healed.

it took mine a week to heal and it didnt hurt much at all
Mine was pierced with a needle and my eyes did water but I could handle it. I admit I am not a fan of injections LOL thats what my pain tolerance is like. Wash your hands well before you have to do any cleaning with the salt water solution. I got Thursday plantation teatree oil antiseptic lotion too. And betadine as I did have trouble with my stud falling out at the beginning and I had a bit of swelling. When you get it done they will give you care info like making sure it doesn’t fall out. Because they heal/close up straight away. I slept with a plaster on my nose to keep the stud in. In the end I put a micro sleeper in and have kept it in. I have had mine 18months now. Persevere and be patient with it. All the best.
