I want to get this piercing but it only comes in 22 gauge. I already know that it’s too small for my hole, but it can heal around it, I’m just worried that it’ll be difficult to find other piercings that’ll fit it once it heals.

My current piercing is about an 18 or 16G.

   If that is the only nose ring you will ever have in your nose again then it is fine. But once you put this in, the piercing will size down to accommodate it and if you try putting in an 18 again it will be painful and may not even go in.

   that is way too small. 16 is correct size for a nostril piercing.
