Basically I got a tattoo about 13 days ago, Its over the back and front of my shoulder and onto the top of my arm. I seem to have had an outbreak of pimple like lumps over most of my shoulder. I dont often get pimples on my shoulders but this is pretty epic. is this normal?? could is possibly be from using too much bepanthen? any thoughts would be great, thanks.

   You could be allergic to the tattoo ink or bepanthen or you could be using too much bepanthen. The tattoo needs to breath, to much can also clog your pores causing you to break out. If it gets worse I would see a doctor, it could be a skin infection but doesn’t really sound like it at this point. If you are really concerned or if it is worse than described I would see a doctor now. Hope this helps.

   your illergic to the ink the artist used when ur tattoo is completly healded get an artist to go over it in diffrent ink and u will be fine. . its not the bepanthen it is the ink and once u get it tatted over with a diffrent brand u will be fine but if u dont the bumbs wont go away and will get extremly itchy and will just continue to get worse. . hope i helped

   I have broken out around every one of my tattoos after getting them. I have talked to my artist, and i also work in the tattoo parlor, she has told me it is just from constantly putting lotion on your tattoo that you can clog the pours, but there is also a chance you may be allergic. If it gets worse I would look into that.
