I just got a small tattoo on my back/shoulder 4 days ago is it okay if I wear a t-shirt? or sleep on it?
I was just curious because its cold outside and I can’t really wear tanktops all the time.

u can wear a tshirt just make sure it doesnt rub on it. . . and try NOT to lay on it, its not fully healed and it will get messed up
as for what the person said below me, DONT let the fabric “rub it away faster”. . if u do that, the ink will come off with the scabs, it needs to fall off on its own
It should be fine.
It’s not a problem, just put a little extra ointment on since the fabric will rub it away faster.
Yes, it’s fine. Just coat the tattoo with a light layer of unscented lotion at all times.
idk i think so
cause you can, nothing tight fitting that might knock the scab off of it though and keep applying the lotion.
x
perfectly fine, just make sure to keep a&d ointment on it or aquaphor.
don’t let it gt too dry.
You can wear shirts the sec after you get it. . . You just have to wear lose fitting shirts not just tanktops. . . Wear what you want just make sure it is lose the first few days while you are still keeping it clean and all.
yes
the majoirty of the oozing should of stopped by now
be careful when sleeping with tee shirt becaus ein the mornign it will stick to your tat – carefully pull it off dont just yank it – i lost alot of color from my tshirt getting glued to my tat during the night
my tat is HUGE though
It is totally fine. The only concern I think you would have is the tattoo sticking to your shirt or sheets if it is still leaking plasma and lymph.
You might want to avoid sleeping on it for the first night (it could still be oozing) but after that you will be fine, no worries.
you can but the t-shit might get ink on it. then again 4 days. . . . maybe not.
Why, sure you can. At this point in time, you can wear whatever you want. It’s not gonna hurt your new ink. Just don’t keep it too wet, or the scab might get soft, and come off prematurely. Use just enough to cover it. Take care.
Uh. . . . I don’t know what you children think but tattoos aren’t rub-off-able. They’re injected into your skin by needles where the ink will stay until your flesh rots off your dead bones. It won’t rub off or be any different if you wear a shirt.
of course. just keep it out of the sun.
