Ive done this several times before and its worked perfect – this time i dyed it (dark brown) and it didnt dye the roots. the rest of my hair is great – but the roots didnt dye at all. . for some crazy reason – i dunno? im keen to go real dark, like black and would put that in and hope that it covers the roots. Is this gonna damage my hair real bad? why didnt the roots dye? WHATS GOING ON! :’ ( Help

I had my already coloured hair (brown) highlighted using bleach but my natural roots growing through turned to a much brighter blonde, I was wondering if I dyed the roots myself to tone them down, would this work?
