Does Aussie catch the wave shampoo and conditioner work?

By , August 17, 2010 5:05 pm

I have tried Aussie moist shampoo and conditioner and I love the smell and it actually made my hair soft.

I have also used Aussie opposites attract(protect + soften) shampoo and conditioner. . they smell great but didn’t work as good as I hoped for.

I have shoulder length hair which is naturally curly. It is also thick and tends to poof out when it dries.

. . . . . So I was wondering if you think Aussie catch the wave would actually work for me? I read a few reviews online but one person said her hair is naturally curly and using this stuff made her hair straight??!! I would love if it did that to me! Or even if it made my hair more curly nice!

Please only tell me if Aussie catch the wave has worked for you. . . . and about the styling products from this line. . . . don’t tell me to go and buy a different brand of shampoo/conditioner because I don’t want Pantene, Garnier, Herbal Essences or Salon Selctives, Dove or Sauve. . . . because none of those have worked for me. . . The ones I have listed that I don’t want are because they make my hair fall out, more tangled, super gross feeling and ruff!

Marc Anthony Instantly Thick Hair Thickening Shampoo & conditioner or Mane & Tail Shampoo and conditioner?

By , August 16, 2010 2:54 pm

I have thin, layered hair. I’m so frustrated right now because my hair is so thin, and I feel that a lot of my hair is coming out. I use the blow dryer and straightener a lot and I’m stopping. I’m really young, but I was born with pretty thin hair. I’ve seen many topics and they suggested Marc Anthony Instantly Thick Hair Thickening Shampoo & conditioner and as well, Mane & Tail Shampoo and conditioner. Which one is better? I’ve searched up mixed reviews for both. Thanks.

Using organic shampoo and conditioner?

By , August 16, 2010 11:07 am

Hi,

I have been trying to grow my hair to a little past my shoulders for a few months now. I have been using Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now until my friend’s mother told me that it was best to use organic shampoos because they are better to help your hair grow.

Are organic shampoos and conditioners better for your hair? I know that nothing makes hair grow faster, but I want to grow out healthy hair.

Thanks!

Best shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair?

By , August 16, 2010 1:06 am

My hair’s super frizzy/poofy/wavy.
It’s also dry on the ends, but can get greasy at the top.

And no brands like Pantene, Herbal Essences, Infusium 23. . . . I tried Redken conditioner also.

None of them seem to work for me, and apparently they’re the cheaper brand with not so good ingredients.
but I heard Suave is good. . . but that’s like $3. . .

So what shampoo and conditioner should I get?!?!
and nothing TOO expensive. . .

Thankyou :)

Best shampoo and conditioner to make damaged/frizzy/poofy hair healthy again?

By , August 15, 2010 3:06 pm

So I straighten my hair a lot. . .
Now it looks dry like hay. I’m so depressed on how ugly my hair looks now. .
It’s poofy and frizzy on the ends. and frizzy and flat on the top, sometimes greasy only on the top. . . I hate it. (it might be flat because I have long layers. . . )
I really just want nice shiny hair.
My natural hair is wavy. . . but now it’s wavy/frizzy/poofy. . . and horrible.

So what shampoo and conditioner should I use to help my dumb hair?
possibly organic.
oh, and I wash my hair every 2 days. shampoo and conditioner. Everyone says to do a weekly deep conditioning treatment. but they haven’t told me which one to do!?!!?!?!?!!!

So yeah,
If you could recommend a shampoo, a conditioner, and a weekly deep conditioning treatment, that would be great :)

I spend way too much time on my hair. . . my parents think I’m way too obsessed. .

Do you thick curly heads apply conditioner for deep treatment on damp hair?

By , August 15, 2010 10:55 am

Hi, before when I apply my aubrey honeysuckle conditioner to my hair, it clump my curls but after it didn’t. For months this conditioner won’t clump my curls and my hair was still frizzy and puffy. Then I just realized after watching hair vids on youtube that it is best to apply conditioner to damp hair not soaking wet hair. When I apply butters to dry/ damp hair it clumps my curls but not when I do it on wet hair. This same thing applies to conditioners for me. Do you curly heads apply conditioner to damp hair,to weigh down the hair, and clump your curls?

At that site. Even the Suggested Use says to put it on damp or dry hair. I should of follow it before.

how do I use conditioner the right way?

By , August 15, 2010 5:07 am

Sorry this sounds like a really idiotic question but I usually purchase 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner SHAMPOOS, and I have very fine hair so I felt no need to buy them seperately. I’ve decided that I want my hair to be more healthfier and 2-in-1s usually don’t work as well than doing it seperately so I just bought a Dove Conditioner.
I just wanted to know how do you apply it to your hair.
Shampoo your hair, then add conditioner (not the scalp) and do I need to use as much conditioner as I put shampoo in my hair, or just apply a little after the shampoo?
Anyways, thanks so much for answering my dumb question, and the most well explained and detailed answer will get full points.
Happy holidays!

Is it good to leave conditioner in your hair for 1 hour? please answer?

By , August 14, 2010 1:55 pm

I have poofy/frizzy/thick/ damaged hair.

I asked before if mayonnaise and egg yolk is good for your hair. . . people said it does nothing and just smells bad.

So should I leave in a conditioner for 1 hour. I’d just put it on the bottom half of my hair, then rinse it all out with cold water.

I have these conditioners:
-Herbal Essences (Blue, hello hydration, AND Pink, dangerously straight, AND Red, Break’s Over)
-Redken All Soft
-Tresemme Silky & Soft (or something. . . )
-Lots of pantene. . which I do not like.
-I also have 2 little tubes of this conditioner stuff. . . from Clairol. . When I dyed my hair about 2 months ago, it came with these little tubes.
It says “once a week color treat, enriched with aloe,
It seems really conditioning. .

SO which conditioner do I use??? if it’s good to leave conditioner in your hair for 1 hour. . . .
and I have to rinse it. . . .
you’re not supposed to leave NORMAL conditioner in your hair forever and not rinse it out. . . .
won’t it look greasy?
those aren’t leave-in conditioners. they’re ALL normal conditioners.
EXCEPT the little tube things.

why do you use a conditioner (hair)?

By , August 13, 2010 11:05 pm

well why, you already have a shampoo why put another stuff in your hair?

The best conditioner ???

My hair is very fine and thin. Blonde and gets a lot of split ends. It’s a little wavy and down to my shoulders.

Is there any conditioner that will make it look sooo nice ?
instead of split endy?

It’s frizzy at the ends.
