Comments (4) I just bought herbal essences hydralicious self targeting shampoo and conditioner. I was wondering if it will work well. I’ve been using nioxin but it dried out my hair? Should i keep using nioxin or use the herbal essences. Also do you have any suggestions of moisturizing shampoos and conditioners.
I’ve damaged my hair with bleaching and using flat irons (Chi) and now I’ve stopped using colouring and my iron for now to see if that gives my hair a “break”….I was wondering if there was a certain conditoner that helps do the trick.
Right now I use Pantene for colored women (I wanted to see if the oils in that would help) Shampoo and Conditioner.
The style that I’m wearing my hair is that wet look up in a messy pony tail (but instead of gell, the Infusium23 dries like gell)
Am I doing the right things for now as far as keeping moisture in it? What’s the best treatments and conditoners that I can use?

My hair is very unruly, with frizzy flyaways and a great amount that refuses to stay down. I always thought that the conditioner in Pert’s 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner would be enough, but everyone in my class has hair that’s a lot less unruly than mine, and I think it may be because they all use a heavier, separate conditioner. Would using a different conditioner, like Dove, help at all?
Also, would it help if I kept the conditioner in for a longer time before rinsing?

I have 6 inch long thick dark hair, and usually I just wet my hair in a shower, put a quarter size of shampoo in my hand, and rub the soap all over my hair from the tips of the hair to the roots.
I never used conditioner, but a girl said that it will help it become silky, since my is really thick and hard to run fingers though.
Also where could I go to ask for help with my hair? Like in a department store or a hair dresser?

I’m trying to make a homemade hot oil treatment and I don’t know what brand I should use, much less what kind of conditioner.
Hot Oil Treament:
-Oil (Canola+Olive)
-Conditioner (I don’t what to use for this)

I want to get the shiny hair from the conditioner but i’m afraid of using their shampoos cause they contain sodium lauryl/laureth, but will I still get shiny hair if i dont use the shampoo with it? The ad says to use it with the shampoo for best results, but some ppl say it doesn’t matter. HELP?
