Do they use just a piercing gun or do you have to get it done with a piercing needle? thanks!

I just got my cartilage pierced about 6 days ago and it’s still kind of swollen. It also hurts a bit if i try to move my ear (like when im cleaning it). This is normal right? I just want to make sure that it doesn’t get infected or anything…
But if it is infected what do i do? Is there a way to fight the infection without having to take out my piercing?

I pierced my ears about half a year ago and the piercings are healed by now (I think). Does anyone know how to clean the piercing? I notice a lot of gunk on the post and earring back when I remove the earrings. Thanks!

I have a monroe piercing and cartiladge piercing, & from a scale of 1-10….I think a cartiladge piercing is a 4 and a monroe piercing is like a 3,, so wat would a tragus be?

I have a lip piercing which I’ve managed to hide for 2 months from my parents, and it’s now healed.
I’m planning to get my nose pierced soon.
If I can hide a lip piercing, will I be able to hide a nose?
If I wear a retainer and put foundation on it, will it be visible?
standard nose.
and i dunno really, just only wore it at night, repierced it every day, but for some reason, last week i woke up and the bump around it had gone down, and now the hole doesn’t shut for about 7 hours.
‘danny’- that wasn’t my question.

Does it take longer to stop being sore or is it quicker?
For reference I got a double helix piercing about 2 months ago and it is still a little bit sore, but not too bad anymore.
Are they harder to take care of?

I’ve got doube helix piercing and I want a industrail piercing, I found my cartilage piercings pretty much painless. Any idea on how bad it’ll hurt?
I’ve been sleeping on my newest cartilage piercing since I had it done.

I got my ear pierced a little over a week ago (not by Claires, but with a piercing gun). It really hurts like hell but it’s so cute. I’ve had this done before on my other ear and I had to take it out. Is it worth the wait? How long does it hurt for?

I am planning on getting my belly button pierced sometime either this week or next. I am on 2 swim teams that both start up again on January 5th. I am really keen on getting the piercing done, but I do not know how long I should wait until I can go swimming again, any advice? I’ve heard some say that chlorinated pools help, while others advise to stay away from them totally.

I had my belly button pierced at the top, bottom, and a surface piercing just below my belly button. The bottom piercing and the surface piercings closed up in about 2 months, but the top one was taken out nearly 2 years ago and has still not closed up! I can even get a bar about half way through. It is quite itchy and has pus coming out of it occasionally – what should I do??
