How do I disinfect piercings? Nothing special like gauges, just regular piercings.
Note: I have no alcohol.
Oh! Do I just dip the piercing into the soapy water? Not real professional at this. xP

How do you close ear piercings quickly?

By Amy, December 21, 2011 6:14 am

I had my ears pierced two years ago and they were always getting infected so I decided, about 4 months ago, to let them close up. I wanted to let them close up so I would hopefully be able to get them re-pierced and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help them close faster as they are taking forever!!
Also, I have heard that they may never close completely, if that is the case, am I still able to get them re-pierced?

Surface Anchor Piercings, Do they beep at the airport?

I am going to get 2 on my hips. I am 18, but I don’t really want to fight my parents about it. We are going over seas soon and I don’t want to have to flash the metal detector person my hips and risk parental units finding out.

Do you think that there is a weight limit to belly button piercings?

By Amy, October 28, 2011 3:02 am

I’m a little worried – I’ve always wanted my navel pierced, but I’ve always thought that people think that overweight people shouldn’t have it done . . . or that the piercist would look at me like I’m joking. .
I’m 75kg (165 pounds) at 175cm tall – which I know I’m not obese, but I am overweight – and am not sure if a navel piercing would be considered okay?
I mean, I don’t wear clothes revealing my belly at all (considering my size) but, I want the piercing for my own self confidence. . not to show off, but to make myself feel better about myself.

What do you think?
(Sorry if I sound like I’m trying to get attention, but I just need some opinions. . . I only ever see slim people with their navel done. . . and need some reassurance)

Thanks in advance!

when people get their navel pierced and then they get piercings around it. . is there any specific name for it?

ok, a question or two on labret piercings?? (not the vertical one that goes through the lip)?

By Amy, October 27, 2011 2:14 pm

questions on the other one that obviously doesnt go through the lip (i think it’s called a horizontal labret piercing. . ?)
i always wanted it done, and my parents say i can get it done. . . except i have a few questions.

1. in your opnion, how painful is it? I have my eyebrow and nose done, and neither of them hurt at all.
2. Why is it said that the horizontal labret piercing is rarer than the vertical one? is there something wrong with getting the horizontal one??
3. apparently it hurts to like, smile or even move your mouth after you get it done. which is understandable. Is this true, though? And if it is, will it eventually stop hurting as it heals?

thanks
lol. sorry.
