I’m not really sure I want to keep my piercings in but I’ve had them so long now that I’m afraid of what I’ll look like without them in.

Lately people have been treating me like I’m a child and irresponsible just because of the way I look. I’m absolutely tired of it. I need a change but should I be going for the piercings? I love them, but I don’t. It’s very hard to explain. I have snakebites and a bridge.
Yes, I’m sure it’s about the way I look because my own mother said, and I quote, “you look like a hooligan. what are people going to think about you? you’re almost 19. ”

People piss me off lol.

I know a ton of people that have the their ear cartilage pierced, and they all say something along the lines of “It really wasn’t that bad. Definitely bearable. ” Yet, when I see people ask about industrial piercings, they go “OH GOD. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE. ”

Well, maybe not that extreme, but (I hope) you know what I mean. Why is it so painful? I mean, I get that it’s two holes, and that the second one will hurt more than the first, but, if the first wasn’t that bad, why would the second one be so terrible? When people say it’s a very painful piercing, are they usually referring to the healing process rather than the piercing itself? Because I’ve heard that, in a lot of cases, healing is more painful than piercing.

Also, I know that pain depends on the person, but it seems to be the consensus that, if you’re afraid of pain, you might not want to get an industrial piercing.
ALSO also, I’m not planning on getting one or anything. I’m just curious. Don’t answer “Just get it. ”

I’m going to be getting another piercing soon and I need some advice on what would look good or not.

I already have a lip piercing and my ears. I want a facial piercing, so I don’t want another part of my ear pierced. I have a few suggestions but I’m not sure if they would look good.
Cheek piercing
Monroe
Nose
Other side of my lip (Snakebites)
Septum
Tongue

I have a round face and my cheeks are a little chubby. Please no rude comments or comments saying something like “Piercings are disgusting!”
Your only wasting your time.

I had 3 vertical lip piercings (piercings up through my lip) and recently they’ve all been getting infected one by one. It started with my left piercing which I took out due to swelling. Then the middle one got the same thing but I changed the bar to a longer one and it passed but now my right one is infected, pussing, and swollen and I’m wondering why the hell this keeps happening. I clean them 3 times a day when they start showing signs of infection.
This one is difficult to change over. Usually when I take it out I can’t get it back in without hurting it so any ideas on how to fix it and why this keeps happening???

i recently got the left side of my lip pierced. i have always been bad with getting shots and stuff like that, but it didnt hurt at all like i expected it. i instantly wanted the other side pierced, but my mom wouldnt allow it. i have been talking with my mom about getting my septum and industrial (ear) piercings done. i heard they are both some of the most painful piercings, and im kinda scared because im not sure what kind of tolerance for pain i have. do you think its safe to attempt to get those both done? or should i work my way up with other piercings?

I am 17, in year 12 but I’m looking for a job that offers about 4 or 5 days a week.
With the positions, how do you work your way up? From retail assistant to assistant manager?

Do you have to do a course or something?
Can you just apply for Assistant Manager jobs?

I have worked in retail since i was 14.
Cafes, Dollar stores and surf shops.

For the skin and beauty part of this. . .
Im getting tattoos on the middle of one finger of each hand.
i was going to get a treble clef on each but now deciding to get a bass clef on the left hand and a treble clef on the right.
What do you think?

How much would snakebites, nose piercings and tattoos on the arms and hands [the treble and bass clef tats] affect a retail job?

i just got my monroe done and she told me not to eat dairy products or meat. is it true. and this one girl at subway i was going to just get a veggie sub said no not bread. is that also true

I want 23.
I have 4 so far. 2 in each lobe. I want another one in each. My helix in one ear, tragus in one, eyebrow, nose bridge, nose, septum, angelbites, tongue, snake/spiderbites, bellybutton (getting done in november) and my hips.
